Podcast: Download So the time has come for the second cruftcast. We’re trying to solve a problem here. The problem is that a french press is a wonderful way to enjoy coffee, but when stirring it a normal metal spoon will slowly destroy the sides of the beaker. I have a simple solution which won’t break the bank. If you happen to learn a couple things along the way its not my fault.

Well cruft is one of a couple of different things. its either poorly made low end junk, Bits of old technology lying around, or cruft is another way of saying hack or cludge your way through a problem. Lets face it, right now there are tons of gadget sites focusing on high end tech, shiny cell phones and all the latest software. For regular people these are not drop everything and buy decisions, most people have to make do. I’ve been value engineering my way through life for quite some time now and this site will be dedicated to showcasing products and hacks that fit that spirit. We’ll be serving up short videos showcasing products, hacks, or cool cruft i have lying around that answers a problem. You won’t see lists of 100 dollar gifts for your dog, you won’t see shiny cell phones, fancy cars. You will see solutions to everyday problems and hopefully a friendly and open environment full of people willing to help. |
